On June 30, 2026, an international economic meeting was held in the Chinese city of Wuxi, attended by local government officials, entrepreneurs, and companies planning to expand their operations into the European market. The event was organized by the Wuxi municipal government, and the meeting was hosted by Ms. Yu Ying, Deputy Chief of the European & African Affairs Division at the Foreign Affairs Office of Wuxi Municipal People’s Government.

The meeting was attended by representatives of major companies from various economic sectors who are exploring opportunities to relocate part of their manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing operations to Europe. An increasing number of Asian companies are seeking locations that enable efficient service to the European market, and western Poland, thanks to its location and well-developed transportation infrastructure, is viewed as one of the most promising investment destinations.

During the meeting, as a representative of BTS Development, I presented the investment potential of western Poland and Zielona Góra as one of the region’s most important economic hubs. I outlined opportunities for collaboration on modern warehouse and manufacturing projects, as well as the benefits of being located near the German border, along key transportation routes connecting Western and Central Europe.

The nearly four-hour discussions focused on the prospects for economic cooperation between Europe and Asia, Poland’s importance in European supply chains, and the role that western Poland can play in the process of relocating production and logistics to Europe. Particular attention was paid to the development of modern warehouse space, logistics centers, and manufacturing investments serving the European Union market.

Investors’ growing interest in western Poland and Zielona Góra confirms that the Lubusz region is becoming one of the most important destinations for companies seeking locations for warehouses, logistics centers, and manufacturing facilities. Its strategic location along the German border, its developing transportation infrastructure, and access to comprehensive services offered by the KOIMEX Group mean that this region possesses all the necessary advantages to serve as a key logistics and warehousing hub for companies expanding their operations in the European market.
