In the western part of the Zielona Góra agglomeration, something more than just the construction of a bridge is happening. A new nervous system for the region is being created, which is beginning to conduct investment impulses faster, further, and more stably than ever before.

New bridge in Pomorsko. A foundation for business development

On February 9, an agreement was signed between the Provincial Road Authority in Zielona Góra and PORR S.A. for the construction of a new crossing over the Oder River in Pomorsko. The 425-meter-long bridge will be built on a new route and will provide a permanent connection between both banks of the river, regardless of hydrological conditions.

This investment will significantly improve regional transport, but its importance goes far beyond the transport aspect alone. A stable and predictable road connection means greater security for supply chains, shorter travel times, and better accessibility of investment areas on the western side of Zielona Góra.

For logistics and manufacturing companies, this represents concrete operational value.

Western route. The region’s new transport backbone

The new bridge is a key element of the so-called western route, which by 2030 will connect Zielona Góra, Płoty, and further on to Sulechów. In practice, this means the creation of an alternative transport corridor, relieving the existing urban infrastructure.

The effects for business are measurable:

  • shorter travel time between Zielona Góra and the northern part of the region,
  • improved traffic flow and safety,
  • greater predictability of transport, which is crucial for logistics and production,
  • better conditions for planning long-term investments.

Road infrastructure is no longer a barrier, but an accelerator of investment decisions.

Płoty. A new direction for warehouse and production halls

The development of the western route directly increases the attractiveness of Płoty as a location for modern warehouse and production facilities. The proximity of Zielona Góra, good road access, and the possibility of developing larger areas make this town a natural base for dynamically developing companies.

For investors, this means the opportunity to:

  • conduct business outside of dense urban development,
  • maintain very goodtransport accessibility,
  • flexibly expand facilities as business grows,
  • optimize operating costs.

It is precisely these locations that are most often chosen by companies looking for modern warehouse facilities in Zielona Góra and the surrounding area.

BTS Development and BTS Park Zielona Góra I. Responding to market needs

In this context, the investment carried out by BTS Development takes on particular significance. BTS Park Zielona Góra I is a modern warehouse and production hall with a total area of 10,000 m², designed in modules of various sizes.

The flexible structure of the facility allows the space to be precisely tailored to the needs of tenants, both in terms of storage, logistics, and light manufacturing. It is a BTS (Build-to-Suit) investment model that responds to the growing market demand for facilities tailored to the operational processes of a specific company.

Combined with the dynamically developing road infrastructure in the western part of the Zielona Góra agglomeration, the project gains an additional strategic dimension.

Infrastructure that builds the value of industrial real estate

The new bridge in Pomorsko, the development of the western route, and the activation of investment areas in Płoty show how consistent transport planning increases the region’s investment attractiveness.

For the industrial real estate market, this is a clear signal: the western part of the Zielona Góra agglomeration is entering a new stage of development. With real potential for logistics, manufacturing, and modern BTS projects.

BTS Development is an active participant in this process, offering investors not only space, but above all a strategic location in a place that is becoming one of the most important points on the region’s economic map.
